John was raised in an Army family and lived in various locations during his upbringing including northern Italy and Germany. He attended the University of Virginia for both college and law school and moved to Richmond, VA for his first job as an attorney, and has remained in the area ever since. He surrendered his life to Christ during his first year of law school (1974) and began attending Living Word Assembly several years later. As an assistant to the pastor, he has by God’s abundant grace been learning and sharing the word of God at Living Word Assembly for approximately 45 years. John and his wife Susan have four children and six grandchildren.
